Stan and I met up with Killijan and his son for the game. While waiting outside we ran into my friend Kali from Oregon and her family. Before the game we saw the Oregon Duck players bus drive in and the cheerleaders walk to the stadium. Inside was fantastic. Stan got to be on the field for kickoff and we had a great view of the game. It was a heartbreaker for sure that we lost. Auburn was definitely beatable. Hopefully the Ducks will be back next year. We got back to the hotel room and in bed about 2am. We got back up at 4:45 to drive back to California to LAX where Cole and I flew to Oregon. Stan was supposed to go to New York for a meeting, but his flight was cancelled due to a storm. Cole and I got to fly first class - my first time at age 37, Cole's first time at a day short of 6 months.

Game Day!
Monday was the BCS College Football National Championship at the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona. The Oregon Ducks were going against the Auburn Tigers. It was the Ducks first trip to the national championships. We were very exctied to go especially since we got to watch them at the Rose Bowl the year before. We met up before the game at Mimi's Cafe with my friend Candace and her daughter Chloe to hand off Cole for some babysitting. Cole had quite a day with the girls. Chloe, who is 17, had a friend with her and they doted on Cole all day long including purchasing his first pair of sunglasses. They said they held up the fish and the stars and he reached for the fish : )
